Introducing Snotter, a well-built 41ft cruiser stern narrowboat constructed in 2006 by Sea Otter – a name widely respected for producing vessels of solid quality and thoughtful design. One of its most appealing features is the maintenance-free aluminium hull, which means you can enjoy the boating lifestyle without the regular expense and downtime associated with traditional steel hull blacking. Measuring 41ft in length with a beam of 6ft 10in, it offers a comfortable and manageable size suitable for both cruising the inland waterways and longer stays aboard.
Powering the boat is a reliable Nanni 3100 three-cylinder diesel engine, paired with a Technodrive TMC 40M gearbox and cooled by keel cooling for efficient performance. With a fuel tank holding approximately 30 gallons and a bow thruster fitted. Onboard systems are well considered too: hot water is supplied via a combination calorifier, immersion heater and Webasto unit, while a 5kW Webasto central heating system ensures warmth and comfort whatever the weather. Water storage is generous at around 80 gallons, allowing for extended trips away from mooring points.
Electrical provision covers both 12v and 240v supplies, supported by one starter battery and three leisure batteries, plus a Sterling power battery charger and galvanic isolator for safe and reliable operation. The setup provides a solid foundation for all your onboard power needs. The interior features double-glazed windows to help retain heat and reduce condensation, ash ply cabin sides and hard-wearing vinyl flooring, with insulation in place to further improve comfort throughout the seasons.
The galley is fully equipped for everyday living, featuring a Spinflo cooker and a Shoreline fridge/freezer, plus a microwave for convenient meal preparation. Accommodation is designed to sleep up to four people comfortably, with a fixed double berth and a dinette area that converts easily into two additional berths – perfect for couples, small families or guests. The bathroom includes a pump-out toilet, vanity basin and a shower, providing all the facilities you would expect for life afloat.
Snotter comes complete with a cratch cover for added protection and comfort at the bow, and holds a valid Boat Safety Certificate until September 2026. Whether you are looking for a leisure craft for weekend breaks, a permanent home or a cruising boat to explore the UK’s canal system, this Sea Otter narrowboat represents a fantastic opportunity to own a low-maintenance, well-appointed vessel.

BUYERS & SELLERS
When you buy a boat from us you pay all monies in to our company clients trust account which means that the buyers and sellers money is protected. This is the same account that solicitors set up for house sales .This money does not belong to the company it belongs to the buyer until the sale is complete and then we pay the seller from the company clients trust account. We cannot release the money from the Clients Trust Account to the seller until the vessel has been accepted and handed over to the buyer because if there was a fault with the vessel and the buyer refused to accept it and wanted their money back we could not do this because the seller would of already had the money. This could become a very costly and messy problem for all parties.
This money never enters our company current account. This also means that we cannot use customers money for other purchases/reasons. If at any point the company went bust then the buyers/sellers money is safe and it would go back to the rightful owner of the money.
We have had this company clients trust account set up from day one to protect our customers money. This account is a secure holding account. We pay the seller monies due from this account when the buyer has signed to accept the vessel. Payment is made from this account to the seller by cheque from the clients Trust Account which is protected guaranteed funds.
